Did you know? Eagle is an iconic Indonesian wildlife that inspires the symbol of our country, used as the mascot of Jakarta, and the national airline “Garuda Indonesia”. Eagle also an important natural predators for the ecosystem balance, for example: the loss of eagles in the paddy ecosystem can increase the number of rodent pests resulting in farmers failing to harvest. However, its existence is increasingly threatened and categorized as endangered species in Indonesia.
Through this program we will encourage students to appreciate how important the species of eagles are and to be directly involved in conservation efforts at the Eagle Sanctuary to prevent its extinction. With a generation that loves eagles, we hope this species re-triumph and skyrocket in the sky of Indonesia.
After going through an exciting journey, we will arrive at LOJI. We will receive a warm welcome from the guide there. Later, we will be introduced more deeply about LOJI, and its main role as conservation of eagles. We will walk around, passing pine trees that loom along the road and enjoy the beautiful scenery around us.
After getting acquainted with LOJI. This time we will be introduced with Eagle Conservation. We will learn more about the eagle, its characteristics, habitat, behavior, its role and conservation efforts. We will also make eagle observations here. See all the amazing eagle activities around you.
After learning the eagle, we will take a break, enjoy lunch during the day, and have fun games. Next, we will review what biodiversity we find in this place. Before going home, we will donate or adopt to support the eagle conservation efforts.
