Currently, most of the transportation still uses fossil fuels. In fact, burning fossil fuels will produce large amounts of carbon dioxide. The resulting carbon emissions can trap heat in the atmosphere which has an impact on climate change. In addition, the process of producing fossil fuels which includes extracting, processing, and moving oil, gas, and coal underground will cause land degradation. Through the Sustainability - Transportation Module, we will learn together about the importance of reducing our carbon footprint by switching to fuels and kinds of transportation that are more environmentally friendly also have less carbon emissions. Let's contribute to reducing carbon emissions with a fun and exciting Sustainability - Transportation Workshop!

ITINERARY
Activity 1 : Comprehensive Explanation About Reducing Carbon Footprint

The activity begins by introducing a carbon footprint. We will see how much pollution or emissions are produced by vehicles in urban areas. Then, we will discuss the impact on our lives, and efforts to reduce carbon emissions.

Activity 2 : Explanation About Alternative Transportation, ex : Using Public Transportation

This session will explain the transportation that we use. We will be invited to review the transportation that we use. And choose transportation alternatives that support pollution reduction and improve air quality, especially in urban areas.

Activity 3 : Calculate Daily Commute Carbon and It's option -> Personal Mobility Plan (Based on Carbon Calculation) : Carbon Passport

Next, we will play games around transportation. We will look for artificial pollution around our yard. Then we will try to make our eco-transportation model of environmentally friendly materials. At the end, we will also plant trees to absorb the emissions we produce.
